Is the airstyler suitable for use with extensions?

That depends on which model you have. The Airstyler Pro is excellent for extensions thanks to its ceramic curling pieces and powerful motor. The Airstyler Essential we do not recommend for extensions because of the plastic curling pieces and less powerful motor.
