How do you create the perfect blowout?
- Start with slightly damp hair. Dry your hair briefly with a towel or the hair dryer attachment. Damp hair holds the curl better and keeps it longer.
- Divide your hair into sections. Clip your hair into layers. Start at the bottom and work your way up. That way, you won't miss a single strand and you'll get an even result.
- Protect Your Hair & Add Styling. Apply a heat protectant to each section. Add styling mousse for extra volume, hold, and shine that lasts all day. Check out our recommended hair products here.
Pro tip: Let the curling iron heat up for at least 30–40 seconds, then let it cool for 30–40 seconds. Smaller sections give you more control. Practice makes perfect: you’ll pick up the technique naturally after a few tries!

STEP 1
Start with slightly damp hair
Dry your hair with a towel until it is towel dry. Not too wet, not too dry. This is the perfect starting point for your blowout.

Divide your hair into sections
Clip your hair in layers. This makes styling easier and your results will be even.

Protect your hair before you start
Apply a heat protector to each section. Add styling mousse for a blowout that really lasts for days.

Curl section by section
Let the curl get thoroughly warm, at least 30-40 seconds. Then immediately turn to cold for another 30-40 seconds. The cold air fixes the curls.
